Why is it so important to be in nature?

I am a child of nature. It makes me happy to feel the wind in my hair and the grass between my toes. I enjoy listening to the song of the rain. When I touch a tree, I connect to it, to myself and the whole existence. Nature lets me feel the all-connectedness and compassion for all there is.

Many people in our society are disconnected from Mother Earth, from Pachamama. They don’t feel the rhythm of nature nor their own cyclical rhythm anymore. MANY diseases arise from this.

Earth Chakras and Sky Chakras

The five lower Chakras (Root to Throat Chakra) are the earth chakras. Earth Energy nurtures these energy centres. The upper Chakras (6th-9th) receive their energy mainly from the sun. We, humans, are like trees, we have to source essential nutrients from the earth. We don’t have permanent roots to be able to move around the planet. Therefore we have to reconnect ourselves to Pachamama consciously and regularly. Only then we can establish health in our body, mind and emotions.

What happens if we don’t connect to Pachamama

The Mooladhara (Root), Swadhisthana (Sacral), Manipura (Solar Plexus), Anahata (Heart) and Vishuddhi Chakra (Throat) source their energy from the Earth. But also the other way around: They release toxins and blocked energy into the earth. If we don’t connect to Mother Earth, to the nature around us regularly, these five Chakras don’t receive fresh energy, and everything stored there can not be released. That leads to a build-up of toxins and unsolved emotions in our body and mind. We feel our of balance, easily irritated and very mind-focused.

The mind takes over the heart.

When our earthly energy centres are blocked like this, the mind received an overload of energy. Naturally, the sun’s energy nourishes the Sky Chakras and then runs down through the Earth Chakras to be released into the Mother Earth. If the Earth Chakras are blocked, all the sun energy stays in the upper Chakras and causes an overload there because we don’t connect to the Earth. As a result of that, we can not hear the voice of our heart anymore. We only rely on rational thinking and don’t listen to our intuition anymore. We experience only half of life.

Clear signs that you should go out into nature right now

If any of these following points are true for you, set the intention to go out into nature today and reconnect to Mother Earth.

  • You feel stressed and restless.
  • You can not calm your mind.
  • You feel disconnected from yourself.
  • You feel disconnected from other people
  • You have difficulties sleeping.
  • You don’t remember the last time you walked barefoot

If we are disconnected from Earth Energies for a long period of time more severe symptoms will arise: Addictions, Depression, Inability to make decisions, Anxiety, Low Self-Esteem, Aggression, no discipline or structure in daily life ….

Reconnect to Pachamama

We are children of the earth. She nurtures and carries us. The connection to the earth energy is as important as sunlight for our health. If we deprive ourselves of these two energies, we will fall sick. Just go out and touch some grass, or tree or stand still and listen to the sounds around you. Become one with Pachamama – we are one.
