How to ground yourself in Winter

Winter is a beautiful time. Everything retreats. Everything rests and prepares for the Summer ahead. There is this magical silence. You can hear it if you become still. In Summer, we are active and full of life. We express ourselves and shine.
This is the time now to become quite and to look inward. Reflect on your accomplishments, enjoy the peace and time for yourself and make new plans for the Spring. I love Winter, with its beautiful coat of snow and the dancing sunlight in the fallen crystals.

But I also struggle in this cold time. What seems so easy in the Summer is a real challenge for me in Winter. It is hard to stay grounded and centred. But over the years, I developed my strategies to stay connected to Pachamama, our Mother Earth.
